When starting to work as an intern at Sabre Holdings, I hoped to broaden my technical knowledge and programming skills. Just after few days I realized that the company is really the best choice for that purpose! Being assigned to work as a part of a regular development team gave me great opportunities. I was able to learn from other team members about many aspects of modern software development: not only about mainstream programming languages like Java and C++, but also about good practices in software and database design, test driven development and the process of creating and maintaining production-ready systems. What is more, I've met many interesting people and was given a chance to participate in interesting trainings prepared by Sabre for its employees. All in all, in my opinion Sabre Internship is a great experience and I think I can recommend it for every fresh programmer.

Being on third year of my Computer Science studies I was awaiting an opportunity to use my knowledge in practice. I was really glad and exited when I had been qualified for Summer Internship at Sabre Holdings.
During my internship I was developing test framework in Java for automated execution and verification of test scenarios written in XML. Every day of my work was anopportunity to learn something new and was full of challenges which were a chance to improve my technical skills.
That's why I have never felt asleep (ok, anyway if I felt I could always grab the cup of coffee - it really rocks:) I am a Sabre employee now and what I truly love here is the work atmosphere.
I am surrounded by people who are experts in what they do. I can always come and ask them whatever I need to know and whatever my problem is. That gives me the ability to feel the progress I make day by day.
So, if you really want to expand your IT horizons working on real-life projects, if you know what 'passion' means and if you want to bring them together just dive into Sabre Summer Internship Program. You won't be disappointed!

My internship with Sabre was an enriching and fascinating experience. I had a chance to take part in a development of a high profile Airline Solutions project and to cooperate with people from all over the world such as Australia, US, UK, and Philippines. I have been learning on a daily basis. I was working with a professional team and that was a great opportunity to enhance my technical skills. I have learned how to follow agile process and familiarized myself with enterprise class application architecture. Despite the fact that it was a busy time due to the impending product release, my co-workers were always open to give me their time and advice on any questions and I've really appreciated that.
Apart from hard work I’ve refined my foosball skills. The family picnic organize every year has also left a lot of good memories. Last year, there were volleyball, basketball competitions, kart racing, quads and many more.
This was a great internship that I would definitely recommend to my University colleges.

Solid University knowledge is definitely fundamental in one’s career. Perspective career surely depends on solid foundations, but the one thing that can actually kick it off the ground is your first internship. This is where you can touch the ‘real stuff’ for the first time, gather experience and make first business contacts that could pay off in the future. Just add to all of that a bit of fun and a great atmosphere – this is exactly what I got from Sabre during my internship. The only drawback here was that I had to devote the whole summer, but in the end it was worth it. Let it be a good proof that I ended up as a regular Sabre employee!
